Shabbat HaGadol Derasha & Mehirat Hametz
Rabbi Helfgot will deliver the Shabbat HaGadol Derasha, this Shabbat afternoon, March 24th after 6:45pm minha on the topic of "Kityinot Past, Present and Practical Psak"
Mehirat Hametz:
Please note that it is highly recommended to sell one's hametz in person. Rabbi Helfgot will be available for the sale of Hametz at the following times:
a) Sunday morning, March 25 after Shaharit at Netivot Shalom b) Sunday evening, March 25 from 8:00-9:00 PM at his home c) Wednesday evening, March 28 from 9:15-10:00 PM at his home
In the extreme situation that one cannot sell the Hametz in person it can be submitted via a completed form via email. All forms must be submitted to Rabbi Helfgot no later than Thursday evening, March 29th by midnight, as the mehirat Hametz happens early on Friday morning, Erev Pesah.
It is customary and highly laudatory to donate some tzedakah to Maot Hitim and the discretionary fund during the sale of Hametz.
The coat room is being cleaned out on Wednesday. If you want to retrieve your belongings, please do so before then.
