Global Day of Jewish Learning Program

“Science and Nature in the Midrash: When Contemporary Science and Classical Sources Collide"

Dalia Shulman, Yoetzet Halakha will address this topic to unite us in learning in celebration of the Global Day of Jewish Learning. Dalia is the Community Scholar and Yoetzet at the Young Israel of White Plains and director of the Halakha & Infertility Program for YeshTikva.org and is a community member of Netivot Shalom here in Teaneck.

The Global Day of Jewish Learning is an annual event that brings Jews of all backgrounds together through study of our shared texts.  Uniting more than 500 communities in 40+ countries, it furthers Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsalz’s mission – “Let My People Know.” The 2016 theme -  Under the Same Sky: "The Earth is Full of Your Creations" – explores our world and nature.
