YOUTH DIRECTOR
Netivot Shalom is a vibrant Modern Orthodox synagogue in Teaneck NJ with a growing membership. We are seeking a warm and energetic youth director to lead programming for youth from nursery through high school. This is a part-time position with much of the activities taking place on Shabbat or Sunday with some weekday preparation.
The Director coordinates and oversees youth groups on Shabbat and holidays, trains group leaders to effectively implement programming in groups, and supervises group leaders. The Youth Director also works with the clergy and Youth Committee to develop creative and exciting educational and social programming.
Qualifications
· Experience teaching or with Jewish youth groups or camps preferred
· Innovation and creativity
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Excellent follow-through
Hours: 7 - 10 per week
Salary: $18,000 - $25,000 depending on experience
