Family Chesed Activity Join Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern NJ for their 11th annual Wheels for Meals: Ride to Fight Hunger on June 13, 2021 at Spectra Labs in Rockleigh, NJ. Funds raised through the bike ride will support JFCS programs for homebound seniors, disabled individuals, and disadvantaged families in Bergen, Passaic and Hudson counties. Some of the programs that help JFCS fight hunger in our community include the JFCS food pantry, the Corner Market, serving more than 720 families, and the JFCS Kosher Meals-On-Wheels program, delivering 7 meals a week to over 350 seniors and disabled individuals this year. Create your own team and challenge your friends and family to raise money to fight hunger while enjoying a beautiful day outdoors. Activities will include 50, 25, 10 and 3-mile bike routes, family bike lessons, a virtual spin class and a guided hike. We will be following up-to-date COVID safety rules and staggering start times to avoid overcrowding. Register or donate to this great cause at www.ridetofighthunger.com.
