Kiddush

COVID Updates
Yesterday 2 families contacted the shul to let us know that adult members of the family had tested positive for COVID. One family was last at services outside on Simchat Torah. The other was at inside services last Shabbat fully masked. The family that was at shul last Shabbat indicated that the individuals who tested positive did not have any encounters that would be classified by the CDC as "close contacts" (i.e. more than 15 minutes with 6 feet of another person unmasked).
We are sharing this information as part of our ongoing commitment to transparency with the community. If you have any concerns, you are encouraged to speak with your family physician. For fully vaccinated individuals, there are no requirements for quarantining or testing based on the nature of interactions at shul given our current protocols.
Announcements
This shiur is in memory of Breindel Bat Chaim Shmuel, maternal grandmother of David E. Schwartz.
Community
This Tuesday, October 12 is your final chance to register to vote or update your address for the November 2nd General Election. Elected officials look to see which communities vote when determining state funding and policy. We have to show up to be heard. Contact Teach NJ with your voting questions or to get involved at (646) 459-5162 or frandm@teachcoalition.org.
