Message From Rabbi Helfgot The building block of Torah SheBaal Peh is of course, Shas,which is the acronym for Shisha Sidrei Mishna -the Six Orders of the Mishna. In recent years the daily study of a page of Tallmud has become very popular. However, not everyone has the time or bandwidth to study a full page of Talmud each and every, and for many the pace of trying to cover so much material in a hurried manner in one day is not ideal.
This coming Shabbat, Dec 25, the new Misha Yomit cycle begins in which one can join hundreds of thousands of people in learning two mishnayot a day and hopefully complete the entire cycle of Shas in less than six years..
