Potluck Kiddush on the Last Days of Pesach
On the last day(s) of Pesach, in keeping with our existing practice, we will be having a potluck kiddush. Please refer to the excerpt from the Netivot Shalom kashrut policy found below if you are intending to bring food for the kiddush. This kiddush has always been a great way to use food that will be left over after Pesach and we encourage you to participate.
Pesach Kiddush Policy:
No leftover Matza.
Store bought and in original sealed packages.
Only mainstream well-accepted hashgahot such as OU, OK, Kof-K, Star- K, CRC, and COR, or from any RCBC store, with the following exception.
No products containing kitniyot, such as soy, corn, sesame, peanuts, chickpeas, etc (including snacks such as halva) etc. -- please read labels carefully and do not bring them since they will not be served.
The clean up team for the last day is you--everyone is asked to pitch in and help clean up. Thank you
If you sold chametz by agency of Rabbi Helfgot, please wait two hours after havdalah before reclaiming it. One may purchase Hametz products after Pesah at any establishment under the RCBC, as well as (per the ruling of Rav Moshe Feinstein zt"l) at all the major supermarkets in our area including Stop and Shop, Shoprite and Acme.
Tanakh/Mishna Study Project
Please make sure to sign up to learn a section of Tanakh or Mishna Moed, if you have not done so as of yet, for our community Torah learning which culminates with a shul wide siyum on Shavuot.
Parents: you are responsible for making sure your children respect the shul and clean up after themselves.
CSS Team
Thank you to the CSS team for providing security during Yom Tov morning services.
