Shabbat Afternoon Scholars Program
Rav Yishai Klein will speak on the topic of "Who Has Chosen Us from Among the Nations". Rav Yishai Klein is a former Ram in the Yeshivat Otniel boys’ high school. He currently teaches at Ben Porat Yosef as an educational ambassador from Israel. This shiur will be given in clear and easy to understand Hebrew. It will take place following Mincha at 7:10pm.
Rabbi Helfgot's Weekly Shiur on Sefer Ezra and Nehemiah
This week Rabbi Helfgot will be giving his weekly shiur on Sunday morning after Shacharit, and also Tuesday night at 8:30pm at the Rabbi's house.
Tanakh/Mishna Study Project
Please make sure to sign up to learn a section of Tanakh or Mishna Moed, if you have not done so as of yet, for our community Torah learning which culminates with a shul wide siyum on Shavuot.
After kiddush on June 3rd, we will have an "Ask the Rabbi" session! In spontaneous interview format, Rabbi Helfgot will address questions on all topics! This is a unique opportunity to hear our rabbi's personal perspectives on all manner of issues. Questions must be emailed in advance to simonfleischer@gmail.com.

Annual Teaneck Yom HaShoa Program
On Monday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m., at Teaneck High School, 100 Elizabeth Avenue, the Jewish Community Council of Greater Teaneck will hold its Yom Hashoa, Holocaust Memorial Day, program. The keynote speaker is Mark Schonwetter, who spent the war years in hiding with his mother and sister in the Polish countryside.

Project S.A.R.A.H 11th Annual Breakfast, Sunday, April 30th, 9:30 -11:30am, at Cong. Keter Torah. Project S.A.R.A.H. (Stop Abusive Relationships At Home) provides services and resources for Jewish victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse throughout the state of New Jersey. Our services help victims to process the traumas they have experienced, enabling them to work towards happier and more productive lives. We connect victims and survivors with a broad array of services including individual and group therapy by our highly trained clinical staff, pro bono legal consultations, and psychiatric services, as well as providing emotional, financial and vocational support.

Shabbat Bikur Cholim
Bikur Cholim Bergen County (BCBC) is proud to announce its inaugural annual “Shabbat Bikur Cholim”, May 5 - 6 Shabbat Parshat Kedoshim, Shabbat of unity during Sefira. The main goal of this event is to create awareness of our many programs and services. There will then be a Melave Malka at the home of Laizer and Dr. Jessica Kornwasser, 393 Edgewood Ave, Teaneck, on that Motzei Shabbat, May 6th, 9:30 pm. We invite the community to partner with us by joining our short program. The evening will feature some words of inspiration from Rabbi Ephraim Simon, a great supporter of BCBC and role model of someone who lives by the motto Kol Yisrael Areivim Zeh Lazeh. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about our programs and services and sign up to volunteer in a way that works with your schedule.
