Pottery Class
Join us at Netivot for a hand building POTTERY class. All levels will feel comfortable.
Six weeks of hand building exploring form, surface texture, and coloring techniques. All works created by the hands of those attending. Teacher: Michael Preston ** Cost: $100 (All materials and clay provided. Firing included) Dates: Monday nights from 8-10 PM 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14

Shabbat Morning Learner's Service
Our next Shabbat Morning Learner's Service will take place on July 8 on the second floor from 9:15-10:15 AM and is led by Yael Smooha. It is geared for those who would like to deepen their appreciation and understanding of the Shabbat tefillot.
Scholar In Residence: Rabbi Benny Lau
Rabbi Dr. Benjamin Lau from Israel will be speaking at Netivot Shalom on July 8th. He is the rabbi of Jerusalem’s modern Orthodox Ramban Synagogue. Rav Benny taught in Beit Morasha of Jerusalem and served as the head of its Beit Midrash, with Rabbi Judah Brandes, from 1998 to 2012. During his tenure he founded and headed the Beit Midrash for Women’s Leadership at Beit Morasha. In 2013, Rav Benny began his work at the Israel Democracy Institute, as the overseer of the Human Rights and Judaism in Action Project.
Rabbi Frankel at Beth Aaron
Our member Rabbi Frankel will be speaking at Beth Aaron on July 8 between Mincha and Maariv (app. 8:15 - 8:20pm) on the topic of Mindfulness and Judiasm: How our Mesorah supports Mindfulness.
On July 26th, this year's Jewish Women's Journey Through Life focuses on mind, body & soul with panelists Shera Dubitsky, healthy mindfulness lecturer and Director of Navigation and Support Services at Sharsheret, Rebbetzin Bassie Taubes, long-time nurse and Director & Owner of Wellness Motivations, and Yoetzet Halacha Shoshana Samuels. After each panelist explores perspectives and tools from her years of experience of service with our community on mind, body & soul respectively, Dr. Rayzel Yaish, Director of Guidance at Ma'ayanot will moderate Q&A. Women of all ages and stages are welcome!
