High Holidays
For the first time, we will be holding two minyanim on Rosh Hashana – one in the Sanctuary and one in the Social Hall.
The Rabbi will speak and daven in both minyanim. Our community’s growth has expanded our pool of wonderful daveners and leiners, allowing the gabbaim to ensure that the quality and Kavanah of both minyanim will be similar.
While all members are welcome to select their preferred minyan, families with young children are particularly encouraged to consider the Social Hall Minyan as it offers specific advantages for you. Our younger groups will be meeting upstairs. The Social Hall’s proximity to the staircase offers parents easier access to the groups. In addition, we will leave some space in this room open to provide a dedicated area for parents and young children to quietly move around while still participating in the minyan.
Reservations in the Sanctuary Minyan are $160. Reservations in the Social Hall Minyan are $140.
Requests for seats in each minyan will be honored to the extent that space allows. If one minyan reaches full capacity prior to the other, further registrations will be assigned to the minyan with availability and you will be notified. To ensure you receive your preference, you are encouraged to make your reservation as early as possible.
For additional information, view the FAQ on our website.
At this time, we are planning for two minyanim on Rosh Hashana only. However, if reservations for Yom Kippur are beyond the capacity of one minyan, we may add a second for that day as well.
To order seats and to contribute to our annual appeal, please visit our Website by clicking here . Please note that in order to complete this form you: · must be a member · must be logged into the shul Web site (clicking on the link will log you in) · must pay overdue past balances in full or set up a payment plan.
If circumstances are such that you cannot meet your obligations at this time, please contact Amy Zwas or Gail Braverman. All conversations are confidential. No one will be turned away for lack of ability to pay, but arrangements must be made in advance. Currently, reservations are open for members only. We will be making seats available to non-Members beginning August 20th.
