Netivot Shalom Needs You!
Netivot Shalom is a lay-led community. Everything that happens here happens because members like you volunteer their time and talents to make it happen. In addition to the Board position we will be voting on at the Annual Meeting, there are many other roles critical to the functioning of our community. Below are some of our most pressing current needs.

Interested in volunteering in other ways or do you have ideas for programs or initiatives you want to create at Netivot Shalom? Contact Debra Passner at president@netivotshalomnj.org to discuss.

Youth Committee Chairs & Committee Members
We are looking for two or three people to chair the Youth Committee and others interested in being members of this essential committee. Help shape groups and other youth activities to create a fun, exciting shul experience for all the Netivot Shalom kids and teens. Chairs will also lead the search for a new Youth Director, helping to ensure we find a dynamic, creative person for this important role. Interested? Contact Debra Passner at president@netivotshalomnj.org .

Finance Committee Member
This role is perfect for someone who wants to contribute but needs flexibility with their time. The role requires about 1-2 hours per month for things like paying bills, depositing checks, and picking up the mail. Most responsibilities can be done at times that work for you. Interested? Contact David Eiselt at treasurer@netivotshalomnj.org .

Netivot Influencer/Gabbai
Gabbai'im play an important role in helping our shurl run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the special Netivot atmosphere. Gabbai'im find individuals to lead different parts of the service, welcome new people and ensure a smooth davening. They are crucial to a tefillah that is both warm and efficient. As we are returning to normal, we are looking to recruit new members to our veteran team of gabbai'im. If you are interested in becoming a Netivot influencer, i.e. gabbai, please email Maurice Appelbaum  mtappelbaum@gmail.com . We're looking for both male and female gabbai'im. Teenagers and those more seasoned are encouraged to join the team. No experience required - we'll teach you!

Social Committee Members
Plan and implement fun programs for members to get together for more than services and shiurim. We all need some fun these days. Interested? Contact Rachel Cohen at cohen.rachelf@gmail.com .
