Dr. Jaclyn Wolfman is a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist and trauma therapist who has devoted her career to helping people struggling with emotions, trauma/PTSD, and relationships. She is the founder and director of Village Psychology, a private practice in the Boston area, offering evidence-based therapy groups and workshops for adolescents and adults seeking relief from emotional suffering and support in building lives of meaning and connection.
Dr. Wolfman has served for many years as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She is a DBT Certified Clinician by the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification.
Dr. Wolfman is a co-author of the recent article “Traumatic Invalidation in the Jewish Community after October 7,” published in the Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment and featured in media outlets including The Jewish Telegraphic Agency, The Times of Israel, and The Jerusalem Post. As a researcher with the Jewish Community Mental Health Initiative, she is currently leading a study exploring experiences of traumatic invalidation in the Jewish community and its effects on mental health.
