Seat FAQ

Where will groups meet?

Groups for younger children (up to third grade) will meet upstairs. Older groups will meet in a tent to be set up in the parking lot.

Which minyan should I choose?

While all members are welcome to select their preferred minyan, families with young children are particularly encouraged to consider the Social Hall Minyan as it offers specific advantages for you. Our younger groups will be meeting upstairs. The Social Hall’s proximity to the staircase offers parents easier access to the groups. Reservations are $160 per seat.

Will the davening be different in the Social Hall minyan?
No. The gabbaim will arrange two sets of leaders for the minyanim. For Rosh Hashanah, the individuals who will lead davening and leining in the Sanctuary on day one will move to the Social Hall on day two. Those in the Social Hall on day one will move to the Sanctuary on day two.

Will participants in both rooms be able to hear the Rabbi’s d’var Torah?
Yes. We will stagger the timing for the Rabbi’s dvar torah so that he may speak in both minyanim on both days.

Will there be reserved seating in both minyanim?
Yes

If I reserve seats for a group of people will we all be guaranteed seats in the same minyan?
Yes. If at the time you make your reservation there is not sufficient room in your first-choice minyan for your full group, we will move all of you to the other option.
