Current COVID Related Policy No sign up needed for minyan.
In keeping with Governor Murphy’s announcement about a change in the NJ Mask Mandate effective this Friday, May 28: · Masks are optional for anyone who is fully vaccinated. · Masks are required for anyone who is not fully vaccinated. · As we have been doing for several weeks, people who are fully vaccinated may sit with people from other households. Socially distanced seating will remain available for now for those not yet full vaccinated or who prefer to maintain distance.
People are considered fully vaccinated: · 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or · 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
We ask everyone to keep in mind that there are members of our community who are immunocompromised or for whom the vaccine either may not be an option or may not be fully effective. Therefore, it is incumbent upon all of us to act responsibly. Adults and children who are not yet vaccinated for any reason must continue to wear masks. If wearing a mask yourself will encourage your children to do so, you are also encouraged to continue wearing a mask.
While rare, cases have been reported in fully vaccinated individuals. Therefore, if you are experiencing any symptoms of SARS-CoV2, you should not attend services or other in person shul programs.
While the governor has also eliminated the requirement for social distancing, we will continue, for now, to provide some seating that is distanced for those for those who need to or prefer to continue to maintain distancing.
