A number of members of the shul or their children have in the past or are currently serving the Jewish people and the State of Israel in the Israel Defense Forces. One of the most wonderful organizations that helps take care of the personal needs of IDF soldiers is the Friends of the IDF (FDIF). On Sunday, Oct 7, 2018 , the NJ chapter of the FDIF is holding its annual dinner right here in our backyard at the Marriott Glenpointe in Teaneck. Here is more information about supporting the work of the FDIF and attending the dinner. Tribute Dinner
Please join me that evening as we come together to support the young men and women of the IDF.

I want to thank everyone for their support, visits, meals and kind words regarding the passing of my mother Ruth "Oma" Straus. Over the years the Shul was a very big part of her life. Because of you, my mother enjoyed every Shabbat and holiday that she attended at Netivot Shalom. You were all very welcoming and always engaged her in so many conversations.
The Netivot Shalom family was with us regarding every aspect of this difficult journey and Robin and I are so grateful to be part of this wonderful community.
Thank you again and we look forward to sharing many smachot together in the future.

Welcome to Dan and Esty Brenner and family who are visiting the shul this Shabbat.
Pre-Pesach Wine & Cheese Tasting and Sale
This Saturday night, March 17th, at 9pm, come and join all your friends and fellow shul-goers for an evening of revelry, libations, fermented grapes, and cheese. Good friends, great music, and a chance to learn about, taste, and even buy a phenomenal selection of kosher wines from Israel and all over the globe, just in time for Pesach.
We are fortunate to have Kevin Roche, formerly of Queen Anne Wines, now of Shoppers Vineyard in Clifton, and his knowledgeable staff on hand to help everyone with their selection of wines at the lowest prices of the year. In addition to our regular selection of gourmet cheeses, Michael Rogovin will be bringing some new, very hard to find artisan cheeses this year.
This wonderful evening is also a fundraiser for the shul and all orders over $100 include free delivery.
Pay at the door, only $10 per person, $18 per couple. Note wine orders must be paid in advance when the order is placed and only checks and cash are accepted.
Keilim Kashering
Kashering of Keilim for Pesach is available on Thursday evening, March 22nd from 5:30PM - 8PM at Congregation Beth Aaron.
