Passover Updates Be sure to read the Passover updates Rabbi Helfgot has sent out as you prepare for the holiday.
RCBC Update Read the most recent update from the RCBC. In this update, the RCBC continues to emphasize the critical importance of all of us maintaining social distancing. The RCBC also recommends that in order to ensure that grocery delivery services are available for those who are ill, elderly, quarantined or otherwise unable to shop that those who are healthy should do their own shopping and follow the limitations that are set in order to reduce crowding in stores. In addition, for those who normally have help in their homes, the RCBC encourages them to maintain salaries for these employees, but to not have them come to your home at this time.
Times for Erev Passover The last time for eating Hametz on Erev Pesah, Wednesday, April 8th is 10:48 AM and the last time to own Hametz is 11:53 AM. You can dispose of any Hametz that you want to count for biur hametz (destruction of the hametz) by flushing all remaining hametz down the toilet before 11:53 am or disposing it in your trash bags that you put outside for collection before 11:53 am and reciting the bittul text that removes it from your possession.
Opportunities for Chesed There have been many initiatives launched to help those in need and those on the frontlines. While we try to send out many of these in emails, that is not feasible for all. Members have been posting many of these on our Facebook page. If you have not already done so, please consider joining the Netivot Shalom Facebook group to stay up to date on these opportunities.

Membership Statements Statements were sent to all members this week which included dues for 2019/20 as well as any as yet unpaid pledges and building fund obligations. Our ability to plan and manage an annual budget that provides the programming and services the community needs and wants depends upon our having an accurate estimate of income we can expect from dues, building funds, and other fees and upon full and timely collection of these funds. We are committed to being fully inclusive of all those who want to be members regardless of finances. Therefore, payment of outstanding balances as soon as possible is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to pay the full amount shown on this statement this year, please reach out to Debra Passner or David Eiselt to arrange for either a payment plan or a reduction in charges, depending on your needs.
